Welcome to Apple Valley Foods U.S.

Making Quality Food Matters

We are proud to be one of America's premier pie manufacturers.  As part of the Harlan Foods group of companies, each week, we feed 1 in 10 Americans.  This is a responsibility that we take very seriously and at the same time, are very excited to share with others.

Families rarely think about accessing affordable, safe and nutritious food.  That is, until it isn't accessible.  We understand the importance of ensuring that keeping store shelves stocked with what consumers want and need is a very important mission.

We pay close attention to what we manufacture and we realize our reputation is at stake with each product, which is why we are looking for people who are seeking more than just their next job.  We are looking for people who  are willing to invest in themselves in order to grow professionally and achieve greater financial rewards and freedom.

Who is Apple Valley Foods US?

Apple Valley Foods US is part of a much larger, family owned food manufacturing company which has served some of American's largest and most successful grocers, club stores, family and quick serve restaurants across North America for over 30 years.  Harlan Foods is headquartered in greater Indianapolis, Indiana and is still run by its founders today.  Apple Valley Foods, a subsidiary of Harlan Foods is headquartered in Kentville, Nova Scotia, Canada.

We are very proud to have recently acquired Legendary Pies in Chaska, Minnesota and welcome them to the Apple Valley Foods and Harlan Foods family of Food Manufacturing Professionals.

As part of this leading, family-led company, we are responsible for creating and manufacturing a number of products that your own family has probably enjoyed!  The products we make include the legendary breadsticks found at some leading Italian restaurant chains and quick serve restaurants found in virtually every community across America.

Our team created and manufacturers the wildly popular mini-bagels found at America's leading coffee and donut brand, as well as, many of the bagels, mini-bagels, english muffins, and muffins found on most grocery store shelves.  Our teams are responsible for producing organic granola and manufacturing snack bars, MRE's for America's military and Natural Disaster Food Kits used across the world by first responders.  We even harvest and process Lobster!

Beyond this, our pies are nationally known as some of the best in America, recently winning 19 blue ribbons, an all time record, at America's premier pie contest.
